What a funny fellow! The Silkie chicken is covered in so many feathers that you can't even see its face. Only its black beak is sticking out from the dense plumage. Even its feet are covered in feathers! How does it even find ist way around?

With its lush plumage, the Silkie chicken always makes a dazzling appearance. It has certainly earned its name: Its feathers look so soft. How nice that it is so tame and likes to be stroked. Even now it comes bouncing up in its typical chicken walk, jerking its plump head back and forth. Which do you think it prefers – cuddles or treats?
