Become the superstar team of Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario to take on quests, take down enemies, and untangle these two unique universes in this new entry in the Mario & Luigi series. When Luigi accidentally opens a mysterious book hidden away in Peach’s Castle, he gets more than he bargained for when characters from the Paper Mario universe spill out of the pages and start running amok. Players must take control of the terrific trio of Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario to defeat Bowser and Paper Bowser and bring the Paper Mario characters back to their original world. More ways to play Adding Paper Mario to their ranks means that Mario and Luigi have even more ways to explore, solve puzzles and take down any enemies foolish enough to mess with the Mario Bros. All new abilities In a first for the series, players can now battle with Trio Attacks, as well as use Paper Mario’s unique copy ability, allowing him to create duplicates of himself in order to bolster his attack power. Pilot giant paper craft Mario Paper Craft Battles see our heroes take part in rhythm-based events in order to power a giant paper craft and use it to defeat giant paper crafts from Bowser’s army. Mario Party: Star Rush Everyone’s a Toad! Toad’s your main host for this Mario Party, and what he lacks in stature, he makes up for in pure party spirit! Bowser’s forces have stolen a stack of Stars, and it’s up to a small group of Toads to get them back. As a Toad, compete with other players to collect coins and Stars while roaming around the board. The one with the most Stars at the end of the game wins! Party planner Each turn, roll the dice and work out the best way forward. Everybody moves at once, so keep an eye on other players’ positions and try to guess where they’ll go. Watch out: another player might swipe coins right from under your nose by racing over the spaces first! Minigame madness Pop a Coin Balloon and you’ll set off a minigame – and get a lovely coin bonus! Minigames might challenge your mind or your reactions. Win a minigame and you’ll get even more coins as a prize! Friendly faces Other characters from the Mushroom Kingdom often appear on the board, too. Meet up with them and they’ll join you as an ally, helping you out with an extra dice roll each round. You can recruit up to four allies at a time, so put together a party to get even more out of each go. Land on the same space as another player and you’ll take part in an Ally Duel, where the player who gets the winning number can recruit an ally from their opponent. Keep your distance! If you tap in a compatible amiibo (sold separately) at the start of the game, you’ll be joined by an ally from the beginning, and they’ll bring a special Dice Block along with them too! Find out more about amiibo in Toad Scramble Star power There are two ways to get Stars. First up, every 10 coins you collect will be swapped for a Star at the end of the game. The second way? That’s tougher – you’ll have to square up to big bad guys in Boss Battles and come away with the most points! In Boss Battles, all players work together to defeat the foe – while competing with each other, of course! If you reach the boss first, you’ll start the minigame while the other players rush to catch up, giving you a few extra seconds to score precious points. If you have allies, they’ll also join the game and lend a helping hand. Party’s over After a certain number of Boss Battles, the game ends and the coins are counted up to see how many Stars everybody gets. But it’s not over until it’s over! The tables might turn even during the judging: you might be awarded bonus coins for doing well in minigames, moving the fewest number of spaces, and more. Once a winner is declared, they’ll be treated to a spectacular shower of shooting Stars: a Star Rush! So pretty… Age 3+
Teddy Together Take care of your very own walking, talking teddy bear in Teddy Together. You can feed, dress and play with your new found friend with the touchscreen mini games. Play mini games via the touchscreen to cook for your bear. You can also feed Teddy, but be careful: If his food is too hot you will need to need to blow into the microphone to cool it down! This little bear is very inquisitive and wants to learn about friendship. The more of Teddy's questions you answer, the closer you will become.  Introduce Teddy to your friends! He will ask them questions and will remember their answers, bringing them up in conversation later in time. A large selection of tops, hats, shoes, accessories and more are available, so the player can dress Teddy however they wish. There are also different fur colours to unlock so you can give your Teddy a whole new look! Compatible with all consoles in the 3DS family. Age 3+
