The Agustinia had upright spines along its back, these long, narrow spines make it look so unique that it is impossible to mix up with any other dinosaur. It was also covered with unusual-looking ossified skin plates. As a harmless herbivore it probably needed the spines and plates to protect against other carnivorous dinosaurs. The agustinia is also always ready to defend itself!
